Neon Signs

Dead Channel #3. A facade cut into sign panels by recursive subdivision, every sign written in an invented script: 28 glyphs, each a short walk on a 3x4 grid, chained into words by a tiny Markov model. Nobody switches the signs: they form an excitable medium (Greenberg–Hastings), where a dark sign lights when a sign it touches is lit and then glows down before it can fire again. Waves of light cross the facade; the rule is deterministic, so the loop is the cycle the facade falls into. Each firing shows a new word.
