Dead Channel #4. ICE, intrusion countermeasures: the firewall as a perfect maze carved by a recursive backtracker around a sealed core. A virus cracks a few random walls and floods the corridors breadth-first from three entry points; colour is how many steps it needed, from yellow at the breach to violet at the end of its run. Time runs out before it reaches the core, and the ICE closes again.
