Groove
A record cut by a composer that never repeats. Each cycle a generative composer writes a new album side (a random walk over a minor scale, FM voices, five tracks with silent gaps) and a stylus cuts it into one spiral, outside in. The only mark is the stylus path: loud passages swell into wide bands, quiet ones thin to a hairline, the gaps between tracks are clean rings. Then the side is wiped and the next album begins.
